Niki S.
“My name is Niki. I’ve been sober since December 11, 2019. I went to a 12 month long discipleship program and after completing this program, I moved to Wynnewood, Oklahoma to a sober living called the Hedge House. I lived at the Hedge House for 16 months. The Hedge House is a faith based sober living.
The Hedge House provided a structured and supportive environment where I grew spiritually and built a strong foundation in the Lord.
The Hedge House helped me to rely on God‘s strength while I face challenges in sobriety. Accountability is another cornerstone of the Hedge House. I attended regular in-house meetings, attended church services, and received mentorship. I learned discipline and responsibility essential for long-term recovery.
Beyond sobriety, the Hedge House has helped me to rebuild my life. What sets the Hedge House apart from other sober living is Ryanne Bailey, the director. She is an amazing mentor. She helped love and guide me. She challenged me to stay on track without enabling or controlling. She taught me how to set healthy boundaries. She reminded me of the progress I was making and encouraged me to keep seeking God‘s purpose for my life. She relied on praying and God‘s wisdom to help me. She always made time for the Hedge House ladies. She has a heart for helping others and knows that part of healing comes from giving back. The House manager Brittany Bowles is pretty amazing too.”
